Braking System (ABS) Anti-Slip Regulator/ Traction control (ASR) are standard on
all 4x2 models. We have also improved construction with the added reinforcement
of a two side intrusion bars fitted inside the doors; this provides even greater
protection in the event of side-on collisions.
In addition you will appreciate the convenience of heated mirrors that won’t fog
up easily in the cold weather, with integrated spotters for good measure.
Auto Manual Transmission (AMT) plays an important role in safety by preventing
missed gear changes and allowing the driver to focus more attention on the road.
Seatbelts are fitted throughout the range. The hexagonal cab has been designed
with the assistance of computer-aided engineering (CAE) to offer best-in-class
crash-worthiness performance amongst the Japanese light-duty truck segment.

When you get into a new Isuzu N-Series you can see the differences immediately.
We’ve improved the entry and exit process with larger doors opening to 90º and
equipped with longer handles to make life easier for the drivers, who access the
vehicles numerous times a day. Once inside you’ll also find the cab space
roomier and more comfortable- providing a more inviting working environment.
Every aspect of the cab has been taken into consideration - ergonomics and
instrumentation.
General visibility for the driver has been improved, with a significant increase
in the downward viewing angle. And other comfort features like more storage
space, and drink holders, with noise levels reduced from 5 to 3 decibels,
creating a more comfortable driving environment allowing the drivers to focus on
the road ahead.
In accordance with our goal of maintaining the lowest cost of operation, we have
integrated a number of features that bring down the cost of operation and
increase fuel–efficiency. Automated-Manual Transmission (AMT) in some of our
N-Series models, offers all the benefits and convenience of a two-pedal
operation while retaining the performance, durability and fuel economy of a
manual. This truck’s exclusive transmission system operates just like an
automatic, but can be shifted like a manual transmission. AMT also features a
1st start button that lets you take off from a stationary position in first gear
in loaded conditions.
Apart from making driving easier, this has also helped to extend component life
and reduce maintenance costs. This highly evolved AMT, with enhanced shift
solenoids and electronic controls for improved shift quality and smoothness goes
a long way to aiding fuel economy, and reducing maintenance costs.
The cab design has resulted in a remarkable improvement in fuel efficiency due
to its aerodynamic and lightweight body design. The panel thickness has been
reduced to the limit, while the implementation of high-tensioned material is
used in sections requiring high strength and rigidity in order to design a safe
and lightweight body. |
